Delete some data, keep your account
- One entry. Open the reading, medicine, appointment, task or document in the app and delete it. This needs delete permission for that area, which a Family Admin has. You can remove your own messages from the family thread.
- The whole family record. A Family Admin can go to Settings → Delete everything. Every elder, reading, medicine, document, photo and message the family stored is deleted immediately. This cannot be undone.
- By email. Write to the address below from your account's email address, say which data you want deleted, and we will delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm.
Meals and their photos in the food diary are deleted automatically after 30 days.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Eldivo and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm. Your account is deleted immediately.
If you are the only Family Admin of a family, Eldivo asks you to make someone else Family Admin first, so the family is never locked out of its own records. You can do that in Care team.
Delete your account without the app
Email us from the address you use to sign in to Eldivo, with the subject Delete my Eldivo account. We delete the account within 30 days and reply to confirm.
support@eldivo.app
We only act on requests sent from the account's own email address, so nobody can delete someone else's account.
What is deleted
- Your login, including Sign in with Google
- Your name, email address and profile photo
- Your access to every care circle
- Your notification settings and reminder history
- The phones registered to receive your reminders
- Which family messages you had read
What is kept
- Readings, medicines, appointments, messages and other entries you added to an elder's care record. They belong to the family and stay in it, shown as from a former member instead of your name.
- Invitations a family sent to your email address, which stay in that family's record.
How long copies remain
- Encrypted backups
- Overwritten within 30 days.
- Security and audit logs

- Where the law requires
- Some records may be kept longer if the law requires it, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
